I grew up on Florida's east coast, practically in the parking lot of Kennedy Space Center, during the Apollo moon landing era. Much of my journaling is focused on this time period of my life.

I enjoy writing, but my writing habit is what you would call random. I don't write regularly, but when the mood hits me, watch out. Most of my writing is sentimental gibberish about my most excellent childhood, although I can wax on about just about anything - go ahead, give me a topic. (I should warn you that I don't know a thing about nuclear physics.)

I spend my time trying to balance my job, my family, and my hobbies. My pets get what's left over.

I enjoy scrapbooking - both "traditional" and digital, as a means of preserving and commenting on my life and my family. I am a genealogy fanatic who has been known to haunt the local family history library on saturdays. I love reading, mostly nerdy military history books, and I really enjoy hanging out with my family - we put the "fun" in "dysfunctional"!
